It's Minions Time

In honor of Richard's birthday and James LOVE for anything minions, we all dressed up in Minions gear, packed up all of our minions toys, and made our way to the 10:00am family showing of The Minions Movie.  It had to have been the largest collection of toddlers in all of Parker, Colorado.

It's almost time!  EVERYONE (including ALL of our minion toys)
are going to LOVE this movie!

My boys waiting for the previews to start...

As always, Nick's just chillin' in his stroller with his toys...

"Mom, please put the camera away and let me eat my popcorn
in peace before the movie starts..."

"Dude!"

James and Richard LOVED the movie.
Nicholas slept straight through it, but thought it was
a great opportunity for a really great nap and snuggles.
Mom and Dad thought it was an awful lot of minions...

"Yay! Let's go again!"

Cool Dude Dad!

We all got into the minion celebration...

Happy Birthday Uncle Richard!  Our minion celebration was
ended with a delicious birthday sundae...

Happy 4th of July!

Parker, Colorado celebrates the 4th of July with a Parker Days Family Festival.  It is a small festival at the park with activities and food booths.  They also had an 80's band which played all night to celebrate.  We went with the Bahr family, Campbell Family (Susan's niece) and our crew.  It was a BLAST!

J absolutely loves rootbeer, and the festival had
HOMEMADE rootbeer!  He could not have been
any happier!

"Summer lovin', had me a blast!"

James thought the band was the best part of the
night. He danced around like a crazy kid to
all of the music.  Mommy was running out of
breath and he just wanted to keep on going.  Here
is our "family shot" of the evening...

James likes to be a ham...

Nicholas slept through the whole night except the
fireworks... he thought the fireworks were GREAT!

Richard took awhile to warm up to the party...

James LOVED the glow in the dark necklace,
glasses, bracelets, etc. that his Auntie Susan got
him!

Richard being forced to wear a glow necklace...
and still warming up to the party...

Dancing the night away to the music of the 80's!

\
James loves to hang out with his Uncle Kelly,
and he thinks it is even cooler when they play
with glow stuff!

Still being tortured with glow stuff... and
still warming up to the party...

The fireworks were awesome! The company was amazing!  The music was fabulous!

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!

A Day with Friends

As a special gift to the two of us, the Bahr family took care of our boys for a Saturday so we could celebrate a belated anniversary and Matt's birthday.  It was lots and lots of fun!  There aren't any pictures of what Mom and Dad did because we took naps, lounged around, went to a movie, ate dinner... it was pretty boring yet fabulous...but the kids had a BLAST!  Thanks to Megan, Tanner, Ethan, Kelly and Susan for taking such great care of my three boys!

It's important for a guy to learn how to take a good
selfie with a cute lady...

There is nothing better than taking a nap with a friend...

Time to play at the park! Nicholas loves sitting in his stroller
and sunbathing. He also likes the feeling of wind going through
his hair...

James is a playground expert!  He LOVES the playground
and likes to show off.  Here is our strong man pretending to
hang from the bar...

Big boy slide!

Ethan is an excellent playground treasure hunter...

Up, up, up and... SLIDE!

Being chill for the cute lady...

Taking selfies with the cute lady...

Smiling for the cute lady...

And flirting with the cute lady... we love our
Auntie Megan!

Ethan taught James how to climb the rope wall...

James LOVES to swing. This swing was extra fun because
he didn't have to spend his time remembering to stay on the
actual swing...

I have two little flirts!

Richard is teaching James is sneaky methods...

It's Soccer Time

James is so social and energetic that we knew we wanted to get him into a sports activity as soon as we could.  Turns out, when you're three in Colorado, soccer is the only choice.  So, we went for it... It was less successful than we would have hoped...

J likes soccer balls, and he likes watching the other
kids playing soccer, but he doesn't like playing
himself.

He does think it's cool to pose with the ball though...

And watch the game...

And climb on the giant statue of a soccer ball...

Maybe my little soccer player will learn to love
it sooner rather than later...

Moving Day... Again!

We finally found an apartment in Parker, Colorado that we can call home!  It's moving day again, but we're excited to be somewhere with doors, and rooms, and space and beds.  The things you take for granted...

We had one last breakfast as a family at our
hotel to say goodbye.  One thing we will miss
at our new home is free breakfast every morning!

Nicholas likes our new carpet!  It's a perfect
place to chill...

Megan and Susan Bahr came over to help.
Nicholas LOVED the attention of a pretty
lady!

James thought he would help with the packing
and carrying process.  Of course, the first thing he
picks to help with is the computer equipment.
 Just like Daddy!

Goodbye Town & Suites Hotel Room 319!
You were good to us...

James was VERY excited to unpack his friend,
Tick Tock!  It was like Christmas all over again.
Just wait till all of his stuff comes from Maryland...

Pig Pile on Daddy on the air mattress!  Best
morning wake-up call EVER! Just ask Daddy
who may or may not be dying from exhaustion...

Unpacking isn't very much fun, so the brothers decided
to lay on the floor and watch a show together...
