All About Firsts

Obviously watching your little one grow up is part of how this parenthood thing works, but I've been amazed at how much James has grown in the past few weeks.  It is like he woke up one day and said, "Ok, I'm ready to get on with this baby thing.  I want to be a toddler!"  As we've already demonstrated, when James decides he wants something he makes sure he gets it... I wonder where that comes from?!?

Here are some of our most recent "firsts"

              First time pulling himself up on his own...

 Using something with wheels might not have been the best choice.

                  First time sitting in a booster seat instead of a high chair...

Mom has decided we're going back to the high chair

because the wiggling was giving her a heart attack.

                  First ice cream cone...

Thank goodness for baby wipes!

               First time wearing shoes...

He lasted 10 minutes.  Maybe he'll wait on the shoes.

                    First best friend...  

He's already part of the "terrible" twosome!
