Two white hairs...

Nicholas has been a part of our family for a couple months now, and along with this milestone he has given me my very first and only two white hairs!  The first came the day that he was born.  Considering that his pregnancy was exhausting, I'm not all that surprised.  The second came just a few days ago.  I'm blaming my little "diva baby" and his lack of sleeping at night.  I do recognize that these two hairs could possibly be attributed to the fact that I turned 30 this year, but I'm refusing to accept this theory. 

Here's a pictorial update on our life with Nichols around...

Nicholas riding in the car... He's a super car rider as long as his brother is in the car seat next to him.  If James is missing, then Nicholas screams the whole ride.  This matches the fact that James pitches a tantrum if he thinks the family is leaving without Nicholas.  They really are going to be best friends.

Poppy is the baby whisperer and knows how to get Nicholas to sleep no matter how upset he may be.  We're REALLY going to miss him in Idaho!

We've been bundling Nicholas at night so he doesn't get cold.  He's not nearly as amused as we are. As part of his "diva baby" personality, he must be touching someone or one of his stuffed buddies in order to fall asleep.  It can make for interesting evenings.

James loves his little brother, but he has decided he's a little bit boring to just hold. 

James was certain that a puppy would make Nicholas happy while sleeping, so he "gave" him one of his new puppies from Christmas.  It worked like a charm!  Larry is now Nicholas' favorite stuffed buddy. He wants to be just like his big brother...
